Terracotta Blues Mini Bowl

Description

Handmade using white or terracotta earthenware clay, decorated with coloured engobe slips and oxides and finished using a glossy glaze. For purely decorative pieces areas may be left unglazed and finished with a wax. I work in small batches mixing the colours as I go, therefore sets may vary slightly.

I used terracotta clay which i rolled out, cut out using a round cutter and shaped by using a plaster mold. For the decoration I used coloured slips and bold shapes. To finish off I used a glossy glaze.

These mini bowls are great on the table for dips, olives etc or perfect on the side for your rings/ earrings.
